As I said before, I love comics. That is why the second book I am reading is the only graphic novel on the list (I am so happy that a graphic novel made it to the secondary list). This one is slightly different that the other comics I have read, but as interesting. It is a story about friendship.

A Heroine that inspires

I'm not a kid. I'M A SHARK!

Nimona want's to be a sidekick of Blaster Blackheart. She is a shapeshifter. She can turn into animals, but also other humans. One part of her is a monster and one part is a young girl. Although just a sidekick, she proves to be he stronger that both men, the villain and the hero. She is a girl to admire, always ready for action and determined to make her own choises in life.

And two friends

Blaster Blackheart is a villain not by choise. Ambrosius Goldenloin is not a very heroic hero. The two rivals used to be good friends but, by chanse or on purpose, they were set against each other. In this book, as in life, evil is not really evil, and good is not purely good.

In a Strange World

What do you mean there are rules? Why would you follow the rules? Isn't that the whole point of being a villain? That you don't follow the rules?

Although set in a world that looks like the Middle Ages, the novel is full of science and technology. The world is lead by the Director of the Institution of Law Enforsement and Heroics.
