ABOUT ME
My name is Ema and I am 10 years old. I discovered Hong Kong Battle of the Books last year and I read all the books on the 2018 list. Although I was not selected to represent my school in the competition, I was glad I discovered so many interesting new stories from different parts of the world.

I enjoyed each one of them so much, that this year I've decided to do the same and started reading as soon as the new HK BoB list was announced. I got my books from Bookazine.

However, this year I would like to share with all the book lovers out there my thoughts and feelings about the books.
Let's take this reading journey together!
I am also trying to write creatively myself. My first attempt at haiku poetry was awarded an honorable mention by Sarah Brennan. I wrote it because I love whales and they were the topic of the competition. You can read the poem here. After that, I tried to write a story as well, and it has received second place in the grade 4-6 category. You can read the story here.
